The Turl is a student-run literary and arts magazine that works to capture Oxford University's creative scene.  While The Turl is based on Turl Street, we welcome submissions from anywhere and everywhere.

As a small magazine, we are particularly interested in pushing the boundaries of art and literature outside the confines of the mainstream.  We are committed to cultivating a space in which creatives can share their genuine ideas and images with the world, unfiltered and true to their vision.  By embracing  raw imagination and individuality, we hope to spotlight fresh perspectives and shift the narratives that we have become so used to being represented in the arts.
